New Shopify lifestyle store — brand to checkout

Choize sells lifestyle products direct to consumers and needed a net-new digital flagship rather than unpicking someone else’s failed build. Codestern stood up a full Shopify B2C store—brand-forward UX, catalogue structure, payments, and the merchandising patterns needed for promos and range growth—aligned with how the business wants to present itself online.

The challenge

  • Without a purpose-built owned store, brand storytelling, promotions, and product discovery were fragmented across channels or informal tooling.
  • The customer path from inspiration to payment had to feel cohesive with Choize’s creative direction—not a generic theme bolted under the logo.
  • Mobile-first behaviour demanded crisp navigation, reliable cart and checkout, and pages that stay quick as the catalogue widens.
  • The team wanted predictability after launch: admin they can trust for discounts, launches, and content updates.

What we did

  • Delivered a new Shopify storefront end to end: information architecture, design implementation in theme, product and collection setup, and integrated payments suitable for UK retail.
  • Built reusable modules for hero content, featured products, and promotional zones so marketing can rotate campaigns without redeploying code.
  • Emphasised conversion hygiene—clear CTAs, transparent delivery and policy entry points, and checkout testing across common devices.
  • Documented handover tasks and trained stakeholders on products, orders, and storefront content so day-two operations are sustainable.
